You can't have too many Triumphs :)

As I mentioned in another thread, I decided not to update my '04 Sprint as previously planned, mainly because I've grown kind of fond of it and really couldn't bring myself to part with it.

Instead I decided to buy a more Sports oriented bike to complement the Sprint. The pics below show what I ended up with, a near immaculate 2004 Tornado Red Daytona 955i, with less than 12K KM on the clock and lots of cool carbon fibre bits.

I realise that this is a Sprint forum, and this is not a Sprint, but hey, I'm proud of the new toy and just had to share it.

Mark

Thanks for the comments.

It sure is a different riding experience to the Sprint. The best way to explain it is that the Sprint feels more 'refined', while the Daytona is more 'seat of the pants'.

The wife hates the pillion position, but that's OK, I have the Sprint for those days that she is with me, and the longer trips where the Daytona's more aggressive riding position might become a problem.

Life is good.

Niiiiiccccceeee. Triumph makes some great looking bikes and your new baby looks showroom new. If you run out of garage space just let me know I've got room for at least two more at my place.

That is beeeautiful! I have to admit, the '02 Centennial Daytona is what got me dreaming of Triumphs in the first place... then the '04 Darth Vader Edition cemented it. They do look good in red though, don't they?

Nice find

Raz, very nice bike. I had a 2002 Daytona which I traded for my Sprint. They are a great bike. Very well done and you are right one can't have to many Triumph's.

That is a Beautifull Daytona have fun with it!

I also have a 955 Sprint and 955 Daytona and enjoy both bikes
The sprint feels more like a refined gentlemans sport touring bike and the Daytona feels more like a "lets get stupid" bike
completely different feel but both fun.
