What screen is this on my RS?
I have this screen on my 04 RS and to cut a long story short, the wind noise is killing me. I literally can't hear the engine or exhaust over 40mph. I blamed my lid and spent £200 on a new one but it's no better. I tried ear plugs but the noise is still bad. So it's time to start changing screens, and I want to make sure I don't buy the same one again!!
Thanks.

I'm sorry I can't tell you what it is but I'm confident that it's neither a Givi nor a PowerBronze as I've had both on my RS.

Thanks Dusty, that's a start.
What did you think of those 2 screens? Any pics?

It's not the Zero Gravity screen either--at least not the Sport Tour screen I have. BTW, you can see it in my avatar.

I'd say it was a ZeroG Double Bubble except they don't list one for our bikes... anymore anyway. Possibly an older model screen?
Other option would be a Puig, the make a model in that style...

I can feel the wind hitting me straight in the visor. If I move my hand vertically up my front there is no air hitting me in the chest or neck but once my hand moves in front my lid .. splat!
So if the current screen lookes like a double bubble, I can avoid those then, right, assuming they're all likely to move the air flow to a similar sort of height? So am I right to say I can try a standard screen replacement, and try to move the wind back down my body a bit, or a touring screen and hope the bulk of the wind goes above or at least to the top of the lid?

Not sure what it is but MRA makes a load of different screens and shapes. Check them out on twisted throttle.

It's trial end error with screens, I'm afraid. I liked the quality of the Givi but I found it to be noisy, directing the airflow to the upper part of my helmet, so I sold it. I'm 5'9"(1.75m) so it might be OK if you're smaller or indeed taller! I'm using the Power Bronze Airflow at present and it does seem to clean the air up a bit, especially around 80-90MPH although I don't think it's any quieter than the standard screen.I always use ear plugs and I'm expecting my custom plugs to arrive from Ultimateear this week, and plan to do a proper back to back comparison of standard and PB screens then.

I think it is the Zero Gravity D.B. as Gearhead_42 said. They may not list them as the RS has been out of production for a while now.
I have the standard screen, am 6'1" and the wind hits me mid chest. Not too much excess noise but I do go bobble head after a hard day at work and riding home at high speed sometimes!!

I looks very similar to the Triumph double bubble i have on my RS. except for the top edge strip...it is some type of double tho,and mine creates buffeting noise too.
