Charlie Boorman was in town today filming the final shots to his latest doco, "By Any Means". Charlie wanted to ride into Sydney with a convoy of bikes and the start was in Wollongong, about 70 kms South.
It was a cold start to the morning, heading South from the Inner City. The peak hour traffic delayed my arrival so only picked up the huge convoy about 30 minutes after the start. To me, it looked like about 500+ bikes. Some of the peak hour cage drivers were amused, annoyed or even scared.

Most of the riders were pretty good considering the size of the convoy but there were a few who were taking stupid risks jockying for a better position in the riding group. The trip headed out West to Ryde, down the M2 freeway, over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finished up in the Domain. Talk about a beautiful backdrop!
Charlie B was pretty accommodating with the fans, taking heaps of photos and siging autographs. Even with hundreds of bikers there, I managed to bump into a Ratbags member at the Domain. I also chatted to a couple of Sprint riders there and spoke to them about TriumphRat. Hopefully, they'll log into this site soon.
Here are some of the pics, unfortunately, I missed out on a photo opportunity with the man himself.

Oh, and we got interviewed by a a cute reporter from the Telegraph.
