Fuel gauge problem after TOR re-map

I installed the TOR muffler, and had the re-map done today. When I dropped the bike off, I had 3 fuel bars remaining. After they worked their magic, the fuel gauge had 0 bars on it! I went and filled up the bike, just to see if that would do anything, and full, the gauge reads 2 bars low.
I took the bike back to the dealer and they said the TOR tune wouldn't have done anything to the fuel gauge calibration. So I have an appointment for them to figure it out when they reopen on Tuesday.
Any ideas what happened?

The almost exact same thing happened to me when I had the TOR and Tune installed a few weeks ago. In my case, I brought the bike in with a complete full tank of gas. Immediately after the work was done I noticed that my fuel gauge had 0 bars... (but the tank was still full)

Both the mechanic and I were confused so he told me to first take the bike out to make sure I was happy with the exhaust while he would investigate how the gauge could have gotten screwed up during the download. After about 20 minutes of riding the bike (luv that new TOR sound), the gauge started to creep up back to full. By the time I reached the dealer, the gas gauge was fine.

You might want to take a spin for 15-20 minutes and see what happens...perhaps the bikes brain needs some time to readjust itself to it's new config....

After I left the dealer I rode about a mile. The gauge then showed 2 bars, and the low fuel light went out. But after I filled it up, the gauge still reads 2 bars low. I've put about 40 miles on it, and it's now 3 bars down from full. Very strange!

My Tiger did the same thing last week after the TOR remap.
Still takes 5 minutes to show a full tank.
Weird...

My '08 Sprint does that after every fill-up and it has never been re-mapped.

Mine on my 08 Sprint did a similar thing.

No bars and when I rode away and the bars did come up later and the low warning light then can on.

Though that we must have left something unplugged.
Stop the bike and started it again to buy something from a shop and all went back to normal.

Not much help just thought I would just add to the confusion.

It just seemed to need time to reset it self.

It still hasn't reset itself. I've put 48 miles on the bike, and now it reads 1/2 full! Either, I'm getting 10 MPG, or it's still F'ed up.
Is the fuel gauge calibrated with a handheld tuner?
