Europe Trip - Not On The St

G'day folks.. Sorry this is not exactly ST related.

Mae and I are heading off to UK/Europe on 3rd November/2008.

Few days in London then the train to Paris, few days there and will rent a car to drive from Paris, via Nice, Cannes, etc and end up in Barcelona, fly back to Heathrow on the 18th, connect same day for Sydney.

Looking for anyone on the list from that part of the world who can offer any advice or tips. Is there anything happening on that route that time of the year - that we should not miss - or should avoid ??

Would love to rent a bike at some stage of this trip - but that will come with the fine tuning later..

Its a cheap way to get a rental car in europe via holidaycars..do it online.
And.....hehe....come to germany, rent a triumph and have fun with no speed-limit.

Germany is for another time, maybe in your summer.

I am also asking for some help, tips, contacts for bike rental ( triumph if possible ) in London for 1 or 2 days, Nov 5,6 and/or 7 - and a suggested route or maybe a web link. ??
