Corbin seats?
I am thinking I want to pick up a Corbin seat for my ST, but the price is making me ill... I get to pay $439 plus tax plus shipping. $500 for a seat? Any ideas on where to pick one up most cheaply from an out of Florida dealer would be greatly appreciated...
tia, y'all!

First off they are HARD. I got one. I love it, it is lowers then the stock. Wait until you have to get the back rest because your wife almost fell off the back. (more throttle next time). If you are looking for softer got with the Factory Gel

I had a corbin on my ZRX for over 30,000 miles, so I'm pretty sure my behind is accustomed to the surface. However, my wallet is in total shock with todays prices!!!
Any pointers to good, reliable out of Florida corbin dealers will save me money...

seat
I have a Corbin as well. It is hard and still not broken in it. I too wear biking shorts for long trips and it is comfortable. I used to spend 4 hrs at a on a bicycle not too many years back so I guess I am somewhat used to it.

Dave,
Sargent (in JAX) will customize your seat for a lot less than $500.

seat
It came with the bike. I bought the bike last month and the seat was put on about 3 months ago with very few miles on seat so it is still breaking in.

Guess I got lucky!
My 2000 ST came with a Corbin seat, fortunately it had a few years on it and is well broken in and comfortable for the long haul. If you can stand the break-in period, they turn into a great seat!
I also have the Corbin Gunfighter and Lady on my Thunderbird and it's just as nice. I recommend them to anyone looking to improve the fit and feel of their motorcycle.

I'm good with them out of the box. Like I said, I've put over 30,000 miles on three different corbins...
