I would say I ride 50% with and 50% without a pillion. My girlfriend is good for a couple hours, and its nice to spend the time together. Weighing in at about 110lbs, I barely notice her most of the time, and she is getting more comfortable in the twisties. I got her a helmet, jacket and gloves and makes sure she wears jeans and boots. I figure she is at the same risk I am, so she should at least have the same gear, if not better.

The only complaint is when she accompanies me, I normally put the panniers and backrest on, killing the sporty look of the bike...haha

Never, my wife doesn't want anything to do with the bike. And she won't let me have a girlfriend either. Go figure!

My gf loves to ride with me, but she much prefers the Speedmaster. She grew up in a Harley family

Solo

Always ride solo. My GF needs to have her own bike. I guess that's why I'm still looking.

I'm lucky as my wife rides, she has a Kwak Z750s. In fact she's been riding longer than I have! She does pillion occasionally but it's generally a rare event.

Other Motorcycle: '05 Tiger 955i very soon!
I used to ride 2 up quite a lot in a previous century, but not nowadays. I have very happy memories from those days.

However, there's a young lady in my townhouse complex who is continually pestering me for a ride on the Sprint & I'm forever dreaming up new excuses. Why? Well, I estimate she must be about 90kg in the shade & I think she'd break the bike's subframe. Scary .

Not crazy about it but

Once in a great while. Last year at MotoGP in Laguna Seca I stayed with a friend and we rode into town together over the hills. She's an experienced rider herself though so she was a great pillion. Only one I've ever had on back at 100+MPH. I have a seat cowl on all the time and I don't even have the pillion foot pegs on the bike anymore. Although, my current GF said she wouldn't mind a ride someday. So maybe.
