New Free RAT goodies

To my suprise this morning, I have just recieved from Triumph RAT a free baseball cap, with " 2008 riders association or Triumph RAT" emblazened on a circular patch on the front
and brit/chequer flags on the sides.

with a note saying
"Dear RAT member
thank you for renewing your membership for 2008 to RAT, and we are delighted to inform you that your name is 1 of 5000 winning entries drawn in out special membership renewal prize draw, and that you have won a limited edition baseball cap"

Doh! Me Too - but I went and had a cup of tea whilst doing the post

No, we in the colonies get nothing. Bugs me actually. Triumph wants to expand its markets in the NA but they have next to no dealers and those of us who own one dont get any spiffs, heck I have been a rat member for the full year I have owned my bike and never got any of the mags either.

Oh well. I love my bike and spent yesterday after dinner polishing it all up and it gives me immense joy.

I was told that you have to renew your RAT membership for each January in order for it to be valid. Did a renewal in December and got a 2008 RAT badge along with the magazine Great picture taken of the new S3 on the cover BTW.

Down under you didn't get a patch if you did renew.

I am up to date and receiving my magazine but we did not receive badges here and I guess we won't get hats either.

But the bike is great!
