2006 Sprint ST 7200 miles to date

1rag link bolt recall
2: rotting relay holder
3: rotting battery strap
4: worn footpegs (premature)
5: windscreen due to bubbling

I think thats not bad....if they just would improve the soft rubber it would almost be perfect

2006 ST - 14,000 miles

Only a new rear light assembly as the original lens started to crack - a known problem apparently. Caliper bolt done before I bought her.

Cheers

No warranty claims - except the recalls.

05 @ 12k (ish) miles: Sprague Clutch. This is the only real warranty service I've had. The new part is different from the old part so it is a known issue at Triumph.
Battery strap
Front m/c goodwill replacement
drag link (x2 because the 4th dealer to service my bike, I'm moved around more than a little bit, didn't look at the old records)
Should have had the windscreen replaced + the relay holders, but the bike went out of warranty before I noticed those issues.

recalls, drag link bold, rear calliper bolt, and Master Cylinder.

Only other thing Rubber replaced on my battery, supposedly the rubber replaced for my relays, but I had my fairing off the other day and still my old zip ties holding them on, probably better anyway. My right foot peg rubber.

Warranty with days left for my side stand switch that took them 6.5 weeks to find and do, when I told them that is what I think was the problem.

Now going to try to get my windshield replaced bubbling finally. It is just short of 3 years but it is a known problem. To me a manufacture defect, should be no time limit on this one.

2008 ABS 16 miles

Rode it away from the dealer last night and returned within minutes with a stupid question (the fuel gauge stopped displaying the fuel level) only to learn that the battery was pretty much dead. Dealer installed new battery; even stayed after closing hours rather then sending me home empty handed. Best we can figure is I got a bum battery. I guess time will tell...

That's funny, my warranty expires today!
I've had the 06 Sprint ABS for two years...and now 23500 miles.

Warranty work:
Bubbling black trim on windscreen
Drag link bolt recall
Shaking front end due to dealer unable to balance wheel
Pulsating front brakes (replaced rotors L&R)
The nut that holds the clutch on the shaft loosened up enroute, but repaired at home.

Warranty work is great when the dealer is willing and exceptional at exercising your warranty rights.
From what I've read from this forum, my estimate is that about 35% of dealers will go to bat for you when the time comes.
