Heated Grips Died

Out of the blue my heated grips on my 2007 sprint just stopped working. I checked the fuse and it's fine. Do you guys think that the are covered under my 2 year warranty?

If you had them fitted by the dealer when you bought the bike, then yes..... at least thats how it works in Australia. If they were fitted later, they may have a 12 month warranty. Good luck and I wish you warm weather.

Check the relay for the heated grips. If it gets wet, it forms rust on it which causes the grips to not work. Clean the rust off and it'll work fine until it gets wet again. At least that's what happens to mine when ever I wash it. hehe

I had bought a pick up truck load of stuff with my bike including the heated grips. The dealer told me the 24 mo warranty extends to any OEM part installed at the time of purchase. I installed all my own stuff as I like to have all my tabs intact on the body panels and screws in the right place as well as tight too.
