Kia ora!

That's hello from downunder New Zealand. Just joined so I thought I should introduce myself and my bike. My name is Martin and I own a black 2003 Sprint RS, known affectionately as "My Precious"

I have had my bike for almost 4 years now. I am the second owner and hope to be the last. I like the bike so much, I do not think I will be selling it - ever.

I have been reading lots of good things in this forum, particularly mods and advice for improving/enhancing the RS. Amazingly, I seem to have done a fair few of them before I found this place. Perhaps I am psychic.

Anyway, here are my mods/additions grouped for ease of reading:

Safety Mods
Brighter Xenon headlight bulbs
Dual headlight relay

Protection Mods (for the bike of course)
Front fender extender
Rear hugger
Scottoiler
Ventura headlight protector
Skyking frame sliders
MikesGrilles radiator and oil cooler covers
Triumph carbon tank pad

Comfort Mods (for me of course)
Genmar bar risers
Godiva double bubble screen
Pazzo racing levers

Touring Mods
SW-Motech luggage frames
Hepco & Becker hard luggage
Ventura pack rack
Nelson-Rigg tank bag

Bling Mods
Tasty Nuts fairing and panel screws (black to match the paint)
Oxford mini turn indicators
Skyking dustcaps and number plate bolts (union jack)
Zorst stainless muffler/silencer (with adjustable baffle)
Carbon top yoke cover

Under Consideration Mods
Bags Connection tank bag and tank ring (to replace strap on bag)
18 Tooth front sprocket
New or refoamed seat

Phew, I think that is the lot. Will post pictures of the bike once I work out how. Until next time.

Ride fast, but ride safe.

Hi and welcome sluggo,
to our TriumphRat.net and the Sprint forum.

A couple of house keeping things;
Could you please read the sticky "forum posting etiquette" and familiarise yourself with this site's acceptable Use Policy or AUP. The AUP is found on the site's front page in the black bar at the bottom of the page.

I hope you enjoy the site as much as we do.

I have an '04 Sprint ST and here is my list of stuff;

Accessories fitted to 2004 Sprint ST, Caspian Blue.

Previous Triumph Carbon Fibre race can
Triumph SS Race Can
K & N free flow air filter
Triumph and Union Jack / UK map Tank Protector
Triumph Gel seat
Previous Triumph rear hugger
RadGuard oil and radiator protector grille
Ventura Packrack
Dual head lamp relay
Datatool S3 Alarm system (now removed)
Triumph Risers sold to Tankman
18 tooth Front Sprocket (best money spent thanks to Don)
Triumph Daytona rear hub nut cover
Ventura sportrack and sportpack
Power Bronze carbon look hugger
Rear Showa shock rebuilt revalved re gassed and re oiled (made a vast improvement for not many bucks, RAD Shockies Brisbane)

So sluggo, what part of Aoteoroa are you from?

cheers,
DaveM

It's funny how often you hear this from Sprint owners.

Worlds fastest Indian meets Gollum, lol (in a good way), you didn't happen to see any of the action on filming Lord of the Rings? Such a nice Country!

Two of my cousins I grew up with were Wraith riders and doubled as Rohan Warriors in that movie. They are both excellent horseman (women actually)

Bit of non bike Trivia (sorry for the hijack).
