Bonkur, I was just about to post something about the you should know better being a BRC instructor until I noticed that you are not indeed Mr. 'Goin Postal' with whom you share an identical avatar.

That said, my buddy has gotten his C4 up to 155 but wasn't sure how much more was left.

BWT, Yes I have done a few awesome stupid things even recently like riding at 132 MPH at night. Yes, before the flaming, it was dumb but at least I was on a 5 lane HWY with no traffic and I only hit that speed for a minute or two.

I was racing a squid on his zx9r the other day in pretty heavy traffic up the Warrego highway for about 10 kilometres. It was great, sooo much exhileration after work made me buzz.

Stupid, irresponsible, careless and giving bikers a bad name. Yep!!

Seriously fun though. Ready for the flame

I can top that. I rolled up to a couple of fine birds in a ragtop one nice day at a stop light. As we were eying each other and at the too last moment I remembered I forgot to put my feet down. They did help pick me up though.

I wish I could "flame you" for this but "guilty as charged" Did a similar thing on the Princess Hwy near Drouin (for the Vic rats here) from a rolling 100 klms agaist an M109, took it up to 240 kph and he was no where in sight. It was all of maybe 20 sec but sure felt good.

Down side was 5 mintues later after slowing down to about 140 kph I got pinged by the Cops who notice I was an SES member so I got to keep my licence. If they had caught me with the M109 we both would have had our bikes taken off us under the hoon laws.

Meet up with the M109 rider who said he couldn't get past 210 kph and thats with 750cc more than me. I told him not to feel bad, I had one more cyclinder than he and that and the fact ...its RED, faster than BLACK (M109)

anyway, not doing again (till next time NOT)

Cheers
Poddy

Greetings Denman!

It's not that I may know better, it's just that I'm just cheap and value my 'M' endorsement on my license. I cannot afford a speeding ticket for 80+ over the Limit, nor do I want to loose my bike in the process.

That being said, the time hasn't been right yet for me to go completely crazy, but I'm working up to it.

So far I can say I'm pretty innocent, although I have hit 180Km/hr a couple of times overtaking traffic. I maintain that this was simply underestimation of power and acceleration, and maybe a little adrenaline kicking in while twisting the throttle. I want to go play on the track someday!

Yeah, tonight in fact.
Went for a short night ride and on the way home got behind two slow movers
so I went around the first one (they started blowing their horn before I was even beside them and it wasn't even a weird pass). Passed the second slow mover in the right turn of a short ess after checking for oncoming lights when lo and behold a pair of headlights pop up from the rise in the lane that I am in.
I was already committed since I was at the cars front quarter panel so I cranked it with headlights in my eyes in the left lane and was heading straight towards the apex of the left hander of the ess when I went around the car in the right lane so I dumped the throttle, layed it over and downshifted, gave it gas and 4 seconds later after the next right turn I didn't see headlights in my mirrors anymore.
Stupid of me for passing instead of waiting a few more seconds, awesome for the sprint being as nimble as she is.
