Starcom Glovebox Installation

I'm looking for an idiot's guide (with the emphasis on idiot) to installing the unit in the glovebox with as much info and as many photos as possible. Thanks

The unit sits in the glovebox, using the hook and stick pads supplied by starcom.
cables L-R starcom/Zumo CAB-55 (cell/MP3 audio) cable, centre IPOD audio, right - aux audio. These exit out of a notched hole near the lock hole, and run CCW inside the fairing infils, across the Headlamp and exit near the LHS speedo.
The power and rider/passenger audio cables exit out of a hole in the bottom of the glovebox, in the bottom corner below the notch you can see, with enough slack cable inside to enable me to be able to lift out the starcom if req`d

though mine now sits much lower than I intended originally so I can get the tool kit back in, so I need to re-stick it.

but the wiring is outside, underneath around the relays, depending on your locations where you want the audio leads to exit, will determine where and how you run the cables, mine exit on the O/S near the point where the seat/tank/seat fairing meet for the rider, as do the battery minder connector, and the fill tube for the scottoiler (lube tube)

and exit out by the rear O/S of the grabrail for the passenger, and is zipped tied to the sub frame rail & grabrail. but I`m guessing you may also need 1 x audio extention cable to run the passenger feed to the rear IF you haven`t used the twin audio BKT-01 mounting bracket that sits on the N/S subframe diagonal rail. either way your going to find out if you need additional brackets/cables

you probably only need to remove the seat, seat fairing (or loosen the front 4 bolts) and the RHS lower fairing to do the install, power is from wiring by the relays, just find 1 that is live when the ignition is on only, though the power wire for the back light is a convienent source

There should be a specific install instructions for the sprint on the starcom website
