Givi Topcase on Sprint 1050
I'm contemplating getting a Givi topcase for my Sprint after having one on my previous bike and loving it. Anyone have a Givi topcase on their 1050? My Sprint is silver and I'm wondering if the Givi silver color is a close enough match that it looks good. If you have pictures (regardless of color) I'd love to see them. Thanks.

If you do a search on this site you will find a bunch of info.

This question keeps popping up so I will keep posting the same answer:

GIVI V46 top case with SW Motech brackets.

If you dont like GIVI luggage, SW Motech brackets use an adaptor plate so you can fit any major brand of hard luggage.

Sorry no pics. The system ahs worked very well for me for 50k kms so far.

If you are a cheap bastidge, try the JC Whitney GIVI knockoff. Yeah it's made in China, and slightly thinner plastic, but for $50, you can't beat it.

I got the large, and if you use the sendnow code, and spend at least $50, shipping is free! When I got mine a month or so ago, it came up to $48, so I added a cheap set of valve extenders, and it totaled $49. Also, this mounts perfectly to the stock Trumpet luggage rack on my Sprint. Kinda big and fugly, but for long trips worth it!

That's exactly what I was hoping for. Frankly, I think that it looks pretty good (although part of it is that I love that color Sprint). Thanks for the pic.

Hi mate

I couldn't justify splashing out on a Triumph top box and rack when I had 200 quids worth of E52 Givi top box in my garage after I sold the TDM. When I bought my bike new from the dealer, I got them to put the Givi rack on and it fits a treat. OK, the box isn't colour coded but it has a gargantuan capacity and doesn't affect the bike at high speed at all.

Cheers
Kav

I fitted a V46 using a Givi adaptor plate. It does not look as bulky as the Triumph top box

Any pics of it on the bike? I have no luggage rack, would you recommend using the included one?

+1, fitted the adaptor plate to the Triumph rack (just the metal part, not the plastic sliding tray bit). Also fitted the brake light kit to the V46.

The color match's very well for the glossy silver. If yo hold the up to the fairing under even light the Givi silver has a touch more orangey-red too it. It is a very very suttle difference.
