Who'll stop the rain....

This is getting old fast! Just about every week for the last couple of months we've had one and a half or two semi-nice days out of seven, the rest have been severe thunderstorms or rain.
Here lately it's taken to raining in the morning until about noon then staying cloudy or starting out cloudy and then raining from about 3 pm on.

Old I tell ya, it's getting old.

We're having the same thing here in TN. During the week: 2 - 4 nice days to ride to work (which is ok, but it's not a "hey, which way do you wanna turn today" kinda ride), then the weekend is rained out. Our usual Sunday ride has been a no-go for the past 4 in a row.

So, yeah, waaaaaaaah, I want some real riding weather too.

[But, the lakes are looking awefully good . . . as full as I've seen 'em in years]

Sun's been out all week on this side of the pond and looks set through the weekend and into next week. Woohoo.

Well we've been having fairly nice weather lately except for one little thing....the d@mn wind. It's almost worse IMHO because it taunts you with this sunny picture beckoning you to emerge from the the cave and mount your steed. But then you get the taste of that first 45 MPH gust that chills right through the leather and nearly blows you off the road. It's starting to settle down over the last couple weeks but for a while there, I just didn't trust the weather or willing to risk being blown into an oncoming truck.

It was 16 and sunny when I left Edmonton and had a real great couple of days of riding. I fly 3 and 1/2hours southwest to San Fran and its exactly the same but dang windy.

We are going to try and rent a bike tommorrow and head so Sausalito for the day. Can't wait.
