warrior is sold
sold her today. got 6700. only paid 6800 3 years ago. I got a deal back then. put 34,000 on her and only lost 100 bucks. basically traded an 02 warrior with 34K miles for an 06 sprint abs with 6K miles for a whopping 300 bucks. not a bad day of dealing really. but i do miss that bike. I'll have another one someday and go 110CI, or 122 next time.

Good Deal!
If you ride around long enough on the Sprint, you will miss the Warrior less and less.
That's my guess.

I made the same transition you did, just add almost a year between the sale of my warrior and purchase of my 06 Sprint. As good of a bike as the Warrior is, it just didn't keep me excited about riding. The Sprint has been great fun, at least for 1000 miles I have shared with it so far. Congratulations.

man, get out and ride that thing. I got mine with something like 6700 miles, already rolled over 8K last tuesday. had it two or three weeks. i take the long way everywhere on the sprint. and one thing i dont miss about the warrior, is 100 mile fill ups. i will miss spanking sport bikes at deal's gap on the warrior though.

Well, not that this is the best excuse, but 2 toddlers and a 60 hr work week have kind of limited my extra riding time. However the 30 mile round trip to work has become much more enjoyable. I hope to take a couple day trips this summer too. I too don't miss the short distance between gas stops.

2 toddlers is the best excuse a man can have brother. Im single with no kids. hence plenty of ride time. going to ride up to haggerstown maryland sometime this summer for a meal and riding home, just to do it. and riding to the indy race in september. what i bought this bike for. cant do that on the warrior. i plan to put 100,000 miles on this bike. we will see how she holds together. resale is not outstanding on triumphs anyway, so i will drive this 7k investment into the ground. resale on the warrior is not good either, i just got lucky
