Malfunctioning Fuel Guage

My 06 Sprint ST recently started experiencing erratic fuel guage readings. For example, won't return to full bars after filling tank. Anybody else experience this problem?

Welcome

Try putting her on the main stand and filling as opposed to the side stand this may make a difference.

This was recently discussed. I too had the problem but must say...DaveM is correct...fill it to the brim and all the bars show up...it looks like its at the brim on the side stand but truthfully its tilted over too far as to "appear" that its at the brim...put it on the center stand and fill...you will see your gauge reading full again

My problem appears to be more of a sensor related issue. I will run the tank to empty and down to a single or no bars then fill it up. The bars sometimes go to full as they should; other times no bars appear or it remains where it was before filling and many miles later it begins to show what I assume is the accurate fuel level.

I appreciate your responses; it doesn't sound like this is a widespread problem as I had expected. Fortunately, I'm still under warranty.

This sounds like a faulty fuel sender
