Angry

Does any one have a Grainger catalogue, or similar, I know they aren't Automotive per se, but if the things could be cross referenced and outsourced easily, for 5 dollars a pop, maybe we could all stock up on these
"just in case"
PS Does anyone know if the earlier Sprints use the same relay's??

I KNOW that some rubber's on my 04, look like they have seen 15 years in the desert, what is it with Triumph's inability to source decent rubber.....throughout the Bike???

It was mentioned that they are OE Hella relays, you can buy hella relays at about any autoparts store along with Bosch relays. If someone posts the schematics that are on the sides or tops of the relays I will look for the Bosch equvalent. Be warned though Bosch relays arent always that cheap. Yes some are about 6 bucks a pop but others are not so cheap.

Check out this website. You can see the internal schmematics on the enlarged picture. Match up the schmatics to the one on the Triumph one and match the amperage and voila.

chiller....no one said for certain that they contained diodes, just that they may.

As to your question "why the diode", if you care to, you can find that answer in a basic electrical book, or in one of many web sites just by Googling it.

frider...why don't you let your fingers do the walking through the Grainger web site?

Did a "basic" search on Grainger.........no luck

I guess tomorrow I will look more closely at the relays on my 04' ( I know, they could be different) and see if I can find more out through Grainger.

Unless you already know that. as they aren't strictly an "Automotive" supplier, they simply won't have them.......??

( I know I have managed to cross reference relays through Granger for our motors/equipment in our kitchens.....but they are pretty much ALL USA manufactured machines!)

PS Did you get my PM Re; Oil?? ( I know I'm not gonna convince you to switch to Diesel!!!!!)..............
