Bike fell over

Well, I am new to this forum and to the Triumph brand. I've got a 06 ST.
While coming into the garage this evening the bike fell over on the right side.
Anyhow, the shiny silver piece on the fairing has broken on one side where is is attached. The other side is intact. It seems like this piece is riveted from what I can tell in the dark. Is this piece replaceable or should I be looking at some 2-sided 3m tape and patch it myself.
The other thing that I noticed was that the brake light seems to stay on now. I can get it to go off if I play with the rear brake lever but one I touch the front brake lever, it will not go off. Any suggestions?
I am really enjoying this website and forums. Thanks in advance for the help.

The silver swoosh has small pins on the backside that attach to the fairing with push nuts. if you order a replacement, make certain that the orrect year is specified because here are differences.

It sounds as though you need to inspect both brake levers and switches. I would be surprised if the rear brake lever is not bent.

OnD is bang on. The swoosh is plastic and has 2 plastic nipples that go through the fairing and have an o-ring and push nut that keep them in place.

My bike tipped on the right side and it mashed my lower brake lever even though it was a slow tip over. The rear brake lever is 160 bucks, the swoosh is about 50 and it doesnt come with the push nuts and o-rings. Those are a seperate 8 bucks.

Hopefully it laid down on the lawn and you dont have any fairing damage. That fairing is 560 dollars.

Welcome ot the forum and sorry to hear about your spill. Check the front brake lever as well as they tend to bend on contact.

Mine fell over on top of my other bike less than a month of owning it. Put a nice little hole in the right lower fairing. Luckily you can't see it unless you look for it. But I know it's there....

Unfortunately both of my fairings are scarred up a bit. One from a low speed drop in the driveway and the other from not making sure the kickstand was all the way down when on the way to see if my friend survived a high-side done about 20' in front of me at a "decent rate of speed." My theory, as at the current time I don't have the money for the fairings or the one broken chrome piece, is that they weren't meant to be pretty forever. Sorry to hear about yours, though, you always hate to see that first scratch.

CROIKE! that chrome piece is $50?! I'm in the wrong business! (or on the wrong end of it at least)

If that part cost $3 to make, I'd eat my shoe.

Fairing Replacement

I had a low speed low-side last fall and wiped the left fairing, chrome piece and more. I found the replacements on BikeBandit.com at more "reasonable" prices, about 25% cheaper. One funny thing though, BikeBandit doesn't have a left side chrome piece, just the right. I bought one hoping they were the same part (they are not). So, I have a right-side chrome piece which I hope I'll never have a need to use. Contact me if you're interested.

One other thing. The downside of ordering replacements from BikeBandit.com was the long wait.

I was out for a ride over the weekend and I got too low into a left-hander and scrapped the peg. The upshot was I broke the peg in half. I went down to my local dealer (read stealer) this morning and ordered a replacement. $110 for 1 peg!!!! For that price, I can't believe that she asked if I wanted to order the rubber as well.

Triumph sure know how to charge for their bits

$110? I don't think the rubber she was offering you was for the peg.
