wrecked & rebuilt

Well i finally finished it! wrecked it in November and rode it to work for the first time last Wednesday. It felt like being with an old friend, I've been riding my Daytona 675 and it just isn't as plesant of a road bike.

Anyway I did something a bit different with the paint just to make it stand out a little. It gets a lot more people looking at it now.

Awesome color choices-and the stripe adds a perfect "look". Well done!!

Very Nice!! Its always a good feeling to get the rewards for something you've done with your own hands.

I agree, that is fantastic and you should be proud.

Are you sure you aren't part Aussie as you have picked close enough to Green and Gold, our sporting colours. You've done enough to get honourary citizenship here!!

I wish my 1050 had the Triumph decal proudly showing on the side of the tank like yours, instead of being on the top. Maybe it is so it can only be read when we are really layin into the corners and I just have to get the bike over further....

the paint-job really catches your eye, yet is quite tastefully done. I love it, good job SB.

Excellent work! The paintjob is sweet (to borrow a phrase from my son) and sets off the lines perfectly. I especially like how your panniers look like they belong there instead of looking like an afterthought. And to figure out how to rebuild as well -- that takes talent. Good on you

I really really like that. The Stripe down the center is just like the Thruxton patterns on todays Thruxtons. Great job.
