Headlight adjustment problem

So I adjusted my headlights and headed out for a short ride tonight.

I am assuming I put the cutoff way too high, because it was slightly over the horizen line when traveling in a level line. I have to say the beams are outrageously bright, too bright. Pavement actually softened before me under the intense brightness. Oncoming cars managed to flip on high beams for a moment before they burst into flames. Small animals fled the roadside areas of trees and brush as they smoldered and burst into flames, only to burst into flames themselves. A wake of death and fire followed me to my local starbucks where I happened upon a nice couple of attendants who I politely chatted triumphs with. Finally I returned home by way of a back road that my old boss lives on, hoping he too would burn to death in his car as it became a molten slag of metal.

Alright, I am done. The low beams are really WAY too bright to be elevated but I really like the light pattern. Can I get a set of lights that are weak enough to sit in that position without offending other drivers?

Well that is just foolish, I bet that thing cost them a fortune to build, they could have just borrowed my sprint.

Just made the same adjustment Thursday night. I didn't get to do a real good test ride (just around the neighborhood), but I loved the improvement in night vision raising them added. You don't even need to turn your brigh lamp on! As far as blinding other drivers, call me selfish, but my primary concern is getting where I'm going safely. If it is an inconvenience for others, I'm sorry. I try not to ride that much at night. Too many deer here in South Gerogia.

I actually see very little difference in illumination from switching the high beams on, other than lighting up stop signs a block away. Out on a country road, it is difficult to tell if they are on other than the blue indicator bulb.

One wonders why all 3 bulbs are the same wattage.....

Anyone consider doing a higher wattage high beam?

Heat & amperage draw issues come to mind....
