My GF's brother picked up a sweet 675 last year, and invited me out for a quick juant with him and a friend of his. Players of the game are me on the trusty 1050 ST, they Tona 675, and GSX-R 600. Place county back roads. I was so worn out by the time we were done (only 2.5 hours) I thought I had done a full tilt UFC workout. Mind you I feel I am an accomplished rider, and throughly aware of my skill set limit. But when there is little exhaust smell in the air, a little baahh, baahhh, baahh in your ears your heart starts to race and the aderline begins to flow. The roads were outstanding, many tight switch backs, changes in elevation, short straights. All elements at which these middle weights are at home, but the ST never, never let me feel as if I were way out of my league. She gives that ton of grunt out of the corners that lets you keep the pace, but on the other hand she makes you work hard to flick in and out turns (can I use "Flick"

). Thats when you realise, how much bike is between your legs, and it was my legs that bore the brunt of this physical assualt. I haven't been on a barn burner like this in spell and had forgotten how much more body is involved when riding swiftly, holding the tank with your legs, so your arms can relax when digging deep into the turns, pushing down on the inside foot peg to start your transition, siding your bum over.........d*mn it was good. This bike is a really good all rounder and has proved it to me, and with a nod of approval from the other team. So this thread maybe irrelevant to some but is another justification of a fine purchase.
