Only In Florida....

My buddy calls me last night from West Palm Beach....to tell me that he was parking his car and noticed a guy drive by on his Honda Goldwing...and as he drove by he noticed those light bars kids put on their cars to make it look like its hovering...anyway he thought that was funny and that this guy added lights on his wheels so you can see them spin at night....but here is what took the cake....he had a built in tv monitor in his rear headrest so the passenger could watch videos....and if that wasn't enought he had no one on the bike at the time but had a movie playing anyway*** when will the stupidity stop?

Since it was a Goldwing, I guess it is safe to assume the video wasn't XXX rated.

What makes you think it will ever stop?

I dont think it will.....I am amazed when I get people in to buy the Cayenne and they bring up the entertainment package...I signed on to sell sports cars not talk about video screens...if I wanted to do that I would have taken a job a best buy or circuit city...geez.

There was a time not so long ago when you went on holidays and Dad packed up the Dodge Truck with the 79' Rustler Camper on the back that you were told to grab you coloring books, something to read and you GiJoe action figure, get in, shut up and enjoy the drive.

No its grab your xbox games, your favorite dvds and let all of the glorious scenerey pass you buy. Lets cross states/provinces/territories but dont ever look out the window to see the differences and the people.

This is why I ride a bike. It forces you to be by yourself, look, watch and enjoy simple things like how the grass is different in Florida then it is in Montana, what the air feels like in Vancouver or Seattle vs Nevada or the Okanagan.

I am heading to Memphis for a vacation in May and I can't wait to see what the south is like.

Face it, our bodies get older but our male minds remain frozen in our 20 year old state of mind. Anyway, that's where mine is, and why I won't look in a mirror.

Unlike us, 20 year old kids don't have a probem working in Circuit City, much less a kiosk selling cell phones today.

What would disturb me, working in a Porsche dealership and having to move entertainment packages, is needing to deal with the emasculated males that meekly agree with their significant other that the kiddies would be deprived without a multitude of screens.

I wondered what the world was coming to the first time I saw a man driving a minivan. Little did I know what was eventually in store for men.

Let the flames begin.

Thats the problem I see all the time Carl...."honey I want the 911" wife- "no you cant have it we have kids to tote around plus I cant drive stick and we need new kitchen counter tops". Thats the crap I do hear.

Here is one for you...as I know this dweeb doesn't own a bike....I had a guy come in the other day..."late 30"s" and he says after our test drive...he wants a Carrera "S" but doesn't shift it at all like he is driving the car correctly...shifts at 2500 rpm and says to me....can you take the sport exhaust off and put a regular exhaust on...this one is too loud...(im thinking...if its too loud your too old..from the old kiss band saying). So I am removing the sport exhaust so he can have a quiet Carrera...Geez....you said it right early Carl...where are the Balls of men these days? Its why I am single, no woman could tolerate me

needAsprint......in all honesty, your wife is probably correct.
I was taking the liberty of lying for our mutual benefit.

That is sad, pathetic, and deplorable. I don't even have the heart to try and say something smartassy. The only thing I can think of is desecration!

But, you could be sure to invite him to join your local POC chapter and let him experience the flogging(s) he deserves.

Speaking of women, I dated a new lady last week, and when I didn't give her a chance to decide where we were going to eat, she smiled, took my arm and said, "I like the way you just go and do it".
I really don't think women have any respect for the emasculated men. They just like having someone that they can control.

That is what partially ended my first marriage - castration of what makes a man a man. I had to sell the Intruder, the CJ5 and a host of other toys that let me fullfill that undying need for adventure that I crave and buy a van. Eventually it was replaced with a VW Passat and roof racks for my Mtn bike. I couldnt buy another bike because there was always a host of things that we needed instead.

When her and I broke up I gave her the van.

My new woman who will be my wife May 3rd is fully supportive of me being a man and was the reason why I own my Sprint. She supports my cravings for adventure and doenst need me to take care of her as she was on her own with her son long before I ever showed up. She is also looking for a bike now. I am pretty lucky with her as she hasnt tried to neuter me......yet.
