Colour change

My '04 Sprint, as a result of a standing drop, has some deep scratch marks on the right fairing. Rather than getting it fixed, I'm thinking about using this as an excuse to change the colour of my Sprint from Aluminum Silver to either Tornado Red or Yellow.

Any thoughts?

Oh I don't know. I saw the photo you posted & I thought your bike looked very smart in its silver livery.

Dave.

Speedy Silver

Don't know why you would change from the premier speedy colour.

Are you talking about painting the existing pieces, or buying all the parts from scratch already painted? I would think that would get expensive quick.

Option 1 - fix fairing same colour $n
Option 2 - fix fairing change whole bike colour 5 times $n ??

If you fancy a colour change and you are prepeared to spend the money then do it - you can't take it with you

Thanks lads. I think you helped me make up my mind to stay in the "premier speedy colour".

Now all that's left to do is to find a competent paint shop that can bring my baby back to her best.

I've always liked the silver sprints, and think they are the best looking. Mine was BRG but a crash late last year gave me the opprotunity to do something interesting. every body panel except the seat cowl and gas tank were damaged so I repainted the whole thing, I have the equipment but have only painted once before. I figured no matter how bad it looks it will be better than it was when wrecked. Anyway it's still green but a little brighter with a bolder metal flake and some yellow stripes.

So the wreck was an opprotunity to make something nobody else has. It's almost back together I'll post some pictures when it's all back together this weekend.

If you can afford to, do something different.
