This Forum Rocks...Two Recent Reasons Why

This forum really is a Vast Repository of the Triumph Arcane... and here are just two very recent reasons why.

1) Read a random thread here about rev-matching upshifts. Tried it, do it all the time now.

2) Just went out to make a quick run to the store, and the bike wouldn't start. She just cranked over, but no ignition. Ran a quick search on this bottomless pool of knowledge and quickly discovered that the voltage was probably low on the battery. This fine site told me I need 12.7V to get the bike started, and after popping th seat off I found the multimeter told me I had 12.2. A quick jump start got me on my way, but since the bike cranked over, I never would have figured the battery was the culprit.

... indeed you are correct Groucho - a vast suppository we are

Always plenty of good knowledge to be willingly shared and problems solved.

And usually dispensed with good humour to boot.

You're right Groucho, this forum has heaps of relevant info and practical stuff to boot. I often think of the valuable bike info and the camaraderie that goes on in this forum and the tireless moderating that goes on behind the scenes.

Thanks to Shawn too!!

Suppository - I never thought of it that way!!

Ah Grant, I'd prefer to think of us as a repository rather than a suppository, but other than that I agree 100%
