zūmo?

Does anyone have a zūmo GPS?
I've been looking at them and am curious how good they are.

I have a Zumo 550 on my Tiger. It's a very good, easy to use GPS for the motorcycle or the car.

I've noticed those Zumo's are pretty popular, but I rarely hear anything about the TomTom Rider... It would be nice to see a comparison written up about the two if anyone has experience with them both

The Zumo will keep up with you on the extreme snaking mountain roads, my Quest just runs off the road and crashes into re-calculating mode.
I wish I had the Zumo, probably very helpful in the clouds.
It is called the Zumo, isn't it?

I think someone on here did a very comprehensive back to back comparison of the Zumo v Tom Tom Rider. Just search on 'Zumo'.
Also excellent website dedicated to Zumo owners:
http://www.zumoforums.com/index.php

I have just fitted mine and still a novice in the sat nav field. Your biggest problem with the Zumo after wiring is how to connect to the helmet as they do not supply a headset. I have just purchased a Bluetooth receiver with bud earplugs as I like some reduction in wind noise and normally wear earplugs. Yet to try the rig out on the bike but works on the sofa!

Plenty of options available. If you go hardwired to the something like Autocom you can have the phone, intercom, music, sat nav, two way radio etc. Personally I like to focus on my riding on with little distraction.

Oh there is? I'll have to check it out. I've always been curious if the TomTom Rider was worth the asking price for it...

Zumo 450 for me, with the Gadget Guys mounting kit.

Love it, you only need the 550 if you need bluetooth.
