I left this morning 22 degress F No worries

I just wanted to share that I rode into work this fine St Patty's day in my Fieldsheer highlander 2 suit in 22 degree F weather and the sprint and suit performed marvelous.

I could not take not riding any longer..... You all year rounders are killing me...

Awesome Chachi.

I've been out several times this year and was going to ride to work this morning as well, but my daugther missed her bus so I had to drive her to school. The ride to work tomorrow should be ok, the ride home even better.
I have a gerbing heated jacket under either my Revit or Tourmaster jacket along with the Tourmaster Overpants, and Firstear heated Carbon gloves.

Stay off the edges and away from the sand and dodge a lot of potholes; makes for a great ride. :-)

BlueFalcon has the idea.

I took a ride earlier this winter up into the Cotoctin Mountains and took my Fluke Thermometer with me. No special heated gear. I posted a picture where we reached a temp of 4 degrees F near the top of the mountains.

Very cold ride back and also very dangerous - barely feeling my brake and clutch levers I knew should an emergency come my reactions would be for snot.

did some research and tried out several manufacturers heated gear. I wound up with a full set (Jacket liner, gloves, pant liner and yup even the socks) I also bought the variable potentiometer control unit with independent controls for jacket pants gloves and socks.

This is by far the best investment as far as personal comfort I have ever made in my riding career which now spans 24 years on the street and another 10 on the dirt. I have ridden throughout the winter, with the exception last month when I was sick in the hospital, and when the street is just coated with salt. I rode on Marting Luther King Jr day and the temp was 9 degrees in the morning. We looked online and I think at 70mph going down I95 that equated to about -16 with the wind. I have yet to have the jacket and gloves on its' highest setting.

Completely reworked my entire enjoyment of winter riding. And even on the days now when it is not so cold, but still very chilly in the morning, but nicer in the afternoon the variable pot is perfect.

Yeah I take some heat(no pun intended) from the real bikers as they call themselves, but I am comfortable and comfort equals more safety margin.

Spring is coming!!!!!!!

Hell yeah, Spring is coming.

Put the Bonnie back in riding trim this weekend. Even installed my new D&Ds. Man it's good to be back on 2 wheels again!

Weather Channel is calling for about an inch of rain tomorrow and 17 mph winds. That's sounds like a pretty good start to clearing off the roads to me.

Ah -- it was a nice, breezy 48 F this morning.

Worst thing was trying to navigate downtown Atlanta after the tornado. Actually saw my bike temp climb to within 3 bars of max - first time it's done that since last summer.
