Welcome,
I have run 190's on my '04. It will slow steering a little but depending on the tyre it is not always that noticable.

There is no real benifit to fitting up a 190, I have had several and no longer bother.

There's not a lot of clearance on an 07 hugger - it "might" foul.....

tyre wear

G'day guys,
in response to the tyre poll,
:I ride a Sprint ST 2002
: have used pilot powers with approx 3000kms, Metzeler Z6 which unfortunately
started to shred the leading edge of the tread on the rear after a spirited ride with
2500kms on it, and lastly, Bridgestone 015 with about 3000kms on the rear and 3500kms on the front.
:usual riding is a little commuting and a fair bit of riding on country roads through our local hills.

All in all, I prefer the 015's over the others as they suit my riding style a bit better.

BUT the Z6 was also a fine tyre, until it decided to give up the ghost.

hi
i ride a triumph sprint st 995 i 2003 year fitted with avon storms front and rear done aprox 5000 miles and still loads of tread left yet

used to use b020 s simular mileage but the rear seams prone to picking up objects ie nails had 3 new rears due to punctures

Not a noob, but I somehow missed this thread the first time around.

12,500 miles on the Conti Road Attacks on my 95 Sprint 900--mostly commuting with one long (2500 mile) trip to northern California and back.
I put a set of the Pilot Road 2's on the RS. They only have about 2000 miles on them so far, but are hardly showing any wear.

I was able to go 980 miles on the stock BT-020's and they're going to spend the rest of their days in the shed. They're better than nothing, but only barely...
