By the way, as far as $ per mile is concerned the ContiRoad Attacks kill. I just picked up a set from Competition Accessories for $235 incl. shipping.

I currently have about 5300 on my rear Z-6 on my Sprint, but it`s getting close.Usually run 38psi in the rear for cool weather and 40 for warm.Only managed 4800 from a Z-6 on my Trophy, using 42 psi no matter the temp outside. Giving the Pirelli Diablo Strada`s a try on the Trophy now,but just put them on.

Pressures
Doublenikkel,
are you aware that the stated manual pressures of 36 and 42 psi are for MAX load only?
cheers,

Pity you can'y vote more than once for different tyres - as there's a wealth of info and knowledge here

07 Sprint St ABS
Original=so far 8275 ( really nned a new one, handleing poor with squared off edge) Just waiting for winter to pass and maybe a couple hundred more but nothing more than that.
80% highway trips 20% twisty mountain stuff. Not a hard driver and most of the time easy on the gas.
Front has about a grand more I will replace a little after the rear is done.
Will probably go Avon Storms.

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT
So far I have 6400miles on my 2ct rear, the front is newer because of the recall. I will need a new one in about 500 miles or so. I figure this is pretty good for the type of riding I try to do. Not nearly as hard as some, like Dave M. but I am learning!!

2k legend
Original BAttalax's:
8k rear (it was so bad it wouldn't pass inspection)
10k front (was still legal, but was cupping badly)
Replacement Metzler roadtec z6
Sport Touring Tire
Rear has 7500 and still has plenty of tread
Front has about 5k and looks almost new.
I ride about 80% back roads and 20% highway, about 30% of the backroads are twisty. Keep the pressure at Triumph recommendations. I figure I'll probably get the rest of this coming season out of the back tire and the front won't be too far behind it.

Stock Bridgestones are going after 4,000 miles (6500 kms). Rear is square with a few mm left to the wear bars and the front is cupped. Lost all confidence after they started breaking loose last fall when things started to freeze up. Mostly city driving.
Still trying to decide between the Road Attacks and the Storms.

Peeter.....psssst Go Storms.
Lots like the Conti's but I had them past bikes and disliked them tremndously and only got about 3000kms on the back. I also have Conti's on my car (came factory) and I dont like them on there either. Sorry to you Conti fans, I have just had bad experiences.

Yet another tire thread .....I'll chime in
road attacks----same as everyone else 5000 to 6000 miles front lasted same as rear, front sides wore much quicker than center.
My new favorite Dunlop D616-----Rear 5500 front could see 10k
Diablo Strada/Z6 on the FZ6 should see 10k (chick bike)
D208 on the F4i 4000
