New toys installed! Hugger and Running Lights

Installed my Powerbronze hugger and a pair of LED bolt running lights.

To those who bitched and complained about installing the hugger...use your brain. I installed mine in under 30 minutes. Thank you whoever recommended putting the head of the bolt on the underside and the nut on the topside, it greatly helps with clearance.

The LED's were a nuisance, I couldn't get them wired correctly to be OFF normally and come ON when I pulled the brake. I tested three different configurations and none of them worked, so they're just wired to run constantly, which I don't mind.

Sorry that the hugger is already dusty, I test rode her to make sure the bolts underneath the hugger weren't touching the tire and I guess just riding it created a static charge LOL.

Enjoy the photos:

Nice one Kory

Well done mate.

She looks beaut!

I agree about the PB hugger I have one on my '04 Sprint, I know the model and fitting is obviously different. But I am not the most techy guy around and I did mine in less than 30 minutes also.

What tail tity is that? and how much light is given off by the smaller light? how dose it compare to the OEM one?

I little black paint on the nut would hide the nuts just a little better..

Hmmm since I am the one who complained about the PB hugger I think I am goin to say something. There is a good chance that I used my brain when I attempted the install. As a matter of fact I am sure I did. I can't say that it is my lack of brain usage that made the metal support rack to small so that it rested on my tire and floated an inch from both bolt mounting holes.....

maybe if I had your brain power I could not only bend spoons but bend PB hugger supports to fit my bike.

When they send me the replacement I will see I match your 30 minutes.

( I am saying this with a smile and not to be a dork)
