I'm dying here! I need a blast on my bike, and it's going to be 4 more months before the roads are clear of ice and snow.

I feel like I'm in withdrawal.

I've got to move south were there's no snow! EIther that, or tilt the whole of Canada 90 degrees at Winnipeg so that Alberta and BC are south of the 49th parallel.

4 months??? b#[;# h';ll.

For me, my railcard runs out on the 5th of March.

And then I plan to be back on 2 wheels again. It will be cold, and the odd day it will be icy, but if I avoid the coldest days I can have...FUN AGAIN!!.

Or at least cut past cages in ques!!

After a few sunny days the roads are clear of snow and ice - so went for a blast on my orange 2000rs.

Saw 3 bikes on the road - all Harleys and they all waved!!!

The temp was still below zero -though sunny, so felt warmer.

It was so good to get up into the foothills and see the mountains.

I love my bike!!!

:-D

Haggis, today it’s only 3, 5 months left to the spring, don´t give up.

Again it was 15 celcius today, and still no ice on the roads, so I played hooky from work, and went for another ride this afternoon!

I know we're going to suffer - most of our snow comes in march and may -then it's rain in june, followed by hail in july!

But today was great - and I'm sure I saw the same three Harleys on the road, and they waved again!

The interesting thing to note about the Harley riders is that in summer, none of them wave back. It could be that their bikes are vibrating so much that they can't even see me.

Maybe in winter the metal parts of their bikes are tighter and therefore less prone to shaking?
