Powerbronze Crash Posts - tested

Last weekend I tipped over.
I was going 5mph...turning....a truck came into my lane and I stabbed the front brake....over I went.
Didn't get hurt.
Anyway, the crash post saved me $$$.
The post got a little skuffed and now there's 2 minor rashes near the bottom of the fairing.
But overall, I am pleased....I guess I was expecting much worse.
Now I know why they make them stick out like they do.
Here's a before pick.

Sorry to hear of your off and glad that you're OK. Those knobs appear to be money well spent in your case. Good job..

Front brake+slow speed+turn=Off

Glad you didn't get hurt. Sometimes, low speed offs can cause injury as you try to save it. I know this for a fact.

I'm surprised the mirror or rear turn signal didn't get scuffed.

One of my greatest fears is messing up all that beautiful body work. Reason why my first mod was a set of R&G sliders. Sorry to hear of your off, but good to know that your sliders did thier job! Glad to hear you are ok too. Jeff

This winter I am putting the Sky Kings on mine. Difference between you and me was I have to learn after the fact. Hopefully this fix will be like wearing a rain suit, you will only need it if you take it off.

Do the R&G sliders require cutting of the fairing to achieve a good fit ?

Sorry to hear she went down, TG. Glad you're alright, and the bike is good.

I would like to put a set on my bike, and Powerbronze are the only ones made for the ST that I know of, and I'm not a fan of the teardrop shape of them. Yours look different, TG. Did you put different ends on yours?

I've also heard GSG, Sky Kings, and R&G's mentioned. any info/links to these?

No...they came this way.....but you have some choices with the color.
I bought them on Ebay from The Superbike Store LLC.
They are a Powerbronze reseller in the U.S.
