I've also been in some pretty heavy rainstorms with them and they have kept my feet dry. Very nice boots.

+10 !!

Do yourself a favor and get the Oxtar Matrix, or whatever they are calling it now. I have had mine for about 3 years and they are great! Saved my feet when I hit a deer at 60 mph and lowsided. (Sprint didn't fare so well) They have a few "scuffs" etc in a bunch of places from the tumble I took, but I kinda like the look of the battle scars.

They are very comfy walking around, and you could wear them into work, etc and most people would not even notice.

If you look around, they can be had for about $120.

I've been looking for boots as well.

I've decided I'm going to get the Triumph Explorer II. They have several good features, don't look too squidley for the office, and they are reasonably priced - $150 (at a discount).

You can find them online at http://www.motorcyclestore.us/triump...boots/tritech/.

I looked at a pair at a Dealership in MD, and the 43 fit my 9-1/2 to 10E foot nicely.

I'm on the Oxtar TCS performance boots. Had them for 2 years and they're still going strong.

I've had a pair of sidi b2's for the last 4 years and love them. Very comfortable , good protection, and the location of the toe shifter pad is perfect. Only complaint is the squeaking from the vertabra system when walking. But I'll live with that for the protection I get.

Talking

I've had a pair of Sidi Vertibra 2's since 2002, they fit my feet and legs very well, and are not like wellingtons, as my legs are stick thin, these are ideal for skinny'uns like me, walked around all day at race meetings and they are fine, use every day summer/winter for work 10 miles each way, my mate bought a pair and as he has more 'normal' proportions than i, he found them far too narrow and tight everywhere

i conclude ....sidi's seem to be good for skinny legged people like me!!!
