Where exactly is the air intake for 07 Sprint STs

Haven't taken mine apart yet.

I want to put some heat insulation under the seat. In some of the bikes I have had the air intake actually faced rearward and took in air from under the seat. Don't want to block the air inlet on the off chance that it does face rearward.

Look above your radiator at or slightly below the lower triple clamp.

No need to worry about seat insulation blocking airflow to the engine.

The airbox is removed in this pic.
The airbox has an intermediate tube running forward to pick up the resonator and intake. The intake is the wide inverted v-shape tube running forward from the resonator snout.

It's easier to see from the front withiut disassembly.
