Good exposure for Triumph, but I can't stand that Dennis guy. I think he's one of the worst TV presenters I've ever seen, and his signature mustache makes me uncomfortable and my 8 year old nephew cry. I expect it to come alive and start attacking Dennis and those around him like in that episode of The Tick.

The show is even an hour long and may be a two parter. Nice article about the show on the speed chanel web site.

Neale Bayly know his Stuff

We're lucky in our Charlotte pack to have Neale Bayly join us occassionally. He used to live
in the western North Carolina mountains but has called Charlotte his home of late.

He is an excellent rider and works very hard at being a first class moto-photo/journalist.
Thanks for pointing out the show. It is a "must see" for me.

Here's a shot of Neale (on the right) with Scot Dail (Pack Leader emeritus) a year ago.

Gage

I just happen to be sitting on the can last night reading a back issue of Motorcycle classics and they had an article on Dennis Gage and the bikes in his garage. He seems like a good egg and speaks highly of the Hinkley Triumphs. He had a Trophy sitting next to him in the pic. The Yosemite Sam stash does need a trim. It hangs out of the bottom of his full faced helmet and snags nats and flies.

Read a bit of the article on the speed site, looks like it might be a good show to catch.

Hi Boobano,

Sounds like moustache man is merely indulging in a little practical hunter-gathering while on the move... .
Wish I could view the program.

I used to be a UK citizen and I can strongly vouch for the joys of biking in the Scottish Highlands. I once did a full forward somersault with landing on right knee, when a dog decided to investigate my front wheel at 60mph on the road running alongside Loch Ness, but that's another story. I sort of met my own Loch Ness Monster that day.

The Scotland footage might be a repeat of a show they did on Corbin's Ride On last year, but maybe we'll get more riding footage. I'm looking forward to a new bike show that won't be a commercial in disguise (except for the well deserved props for our machines) or be limited to the antics of chopper "fabricators", stunters or squids.

I caught this show yesterday, and I gotta say... sign me up... I wanna go!

I've been doing a lot of research on my family genealogy, and traced my family back to Scotland; in fact, all the way back to the lands around Dallas, Scotland. I've been reading a lot of Superbike magazine also, and have been drooling over some of the European rides they have been reviewing... This episode was without a doubt, icing on my cake...

In all seriousness, I'm going to start working on saving up some money, so in the next few years, I might have the chance to fly over, rent a Sprint ST, and spend a week or two on some rides in Scotland, and possibly, a long trip from Scotland to London. Just taking enough with me to camp out at night, with an occasional stay in a hotel. It's a dream, anyways?

The scenery was awesome. I have seen several backpacking in Scotland shows and have always thought that looked like fun and now I have another reason to go over there. I assume it wouldn't be to hard to rent a Sprint.

I was also impressed by Dennis Gage. I have also been protective of my own kid when she wanted to ride my Sprint. Big difference with Dennis's kid is that other than a riding class she has never owned a bike and my 955 is alittle much for her to start off on. I was impressed when Dennis gave into his kid and let him ride. Also enjoyed the trading of jackets and wheelie stunt.

If I had any problem with the show it would be a lack of talk about the Sprint. You would have thought they could have spent 5 minutes in an hour long show talking history and specs. of the bike. I believe this is a series and they will be riding other bikes in other places. Hope they tell me alittle more about the bikes I am not familiar with.
