Travel (non bike sadly) to Tassie - Tips?

Hey all, particularly those lucky enough to be living in Tasmania...

I'm taking the family down to Tassie this Sunday for a 12 day trip around the place, and it occurred to me that a number of people on this forum either live there or have travelled.

Not taking the Sprint sadly (believe me, I spent many hours thinking about how I could take her!), we're picking up a hire car in Hobart Sunday lunchtime...

We're spending a couple of days in Hobart then west through to Queenstown, then up to the north-west point, along the north coast through to Launceston then down the east coast back to Hobart for flight out.

The missus has organised most of it, and as we have a 6 year old boy there'll be lots of nature walks, steam train trips etc., but if you have any suggestions as to things to do they would be most welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Neil

Sorry to hear that your having a forced separation!!

Tassie is supposed to be wonderful especially at this time of year.

Have a great trip and try not to think of your Sprint, all lonely and forlorn, waiting for you to push her buttons and caress her......
