This summer I should have someone heading over to England for a class. While there, is there anything I should have them bring back for me? Is there anything that we can't get here in the States? Thanks foy any thoughts.

there is not much over here that is not available in the US ( bike parts wise) plus with the exchange rate and VAT you might not want to know how much it costs.

They pay a lot more than we do for most parts.

Alas, but if only there were a sense of humor to be found in the UK...

And if you want proper beer, you will have to have your friend make a quick hop over the North Sea and visit the Netherlands... where everyone knows proper beer really comes from... :-D

I've found them online from English shops that will ship them to the US, but I wish someone would sell the full line of WIZ knee sliders in the USA. sliderwoman.com sells some, but I want the Anglo items: Isle of Man, Learner (Big Red L on white--Learner, Loser--on the track, what's the diff???).

Seriously, I wouldn't look so much for parts as items that are uniquely British--clothing, BSB items, Isle of Man items, etc.

I have to stay away from beer (carbonation)...but any self respecting Irishman knows that the nectar of the gods is Guiness.
I wasn't thinking parts, more along the lines of add-ons or unique (and her sister Monique) items. I do appreciate the tips on beverages though!!
