Logo for my Jacket HELP
Logo for my Jacket HELP
Ok I got a White Icon Motor head Asphalt Tech Leather Jacket. I am looking for some Triumph Artwork to get custom embroidered on the back of it. I took my work uniforms into my Dry Cleaners and they now do custom embroidery for about 40 bucks. I have the fast Blue Sprint, any ideas or pics?
I just don't wannt spend the $$ for the real deal, I got this jacket off ebay for 140 bucks (I am a cheap ass). I want something that says "BLING" yes I said BLING

Without knowing the quality of their work, perhaps ride the bike over and show them the logo on the tank and get them to replicate the silhouette in reverse (black stitching on white.) Might look really cool.

jeffro, for a nominal fee I would be glad to let you use this logo on your jacket.

Ebay has several patches I ordered. I have a motoGP leather jacket of the same vein that I got a deal on and it even has the same blue as my Sprint. Found several great patches on EBAY but I am chicken to put this amazing jacket in the hands of my normal dry cleaner that says they can do this type of stitching. I will have to remove the CE stuff and liner and hope I can put it all back together when they are done.
What I have researched is that they should use glue "and" stitching on big ones since it might not look good if they only stitch the paremeter. If they use glue supposedly you can't ever take it off but I think stitching would create holes just the same so it is better to do both but "never" iron it on
Only thing I struggle with now is making sure I only put a couple on it so it doesn't look like I "tried to hard".
Ride well and safe!
Mark

Try a specialist embroidery outlet. I walked into a local one and he had access to 30 different Triumph logos, including Meriden, early Hinckley and current Hinckley, plus all the different model lettering, as it appears on the bike, ie Speed Triple, Sprint etc. I think it was from an online resource for embroiderers that they subscribe to. If they have to copy a logo and make what`s called a 'needle card' it`s gets expensive. If they already have access to the logos it`s next to nothing. I had the current Triumph logo put onto the back of a Levi Denim Jacket for $25.

I guess my next question would be, if the weather is too poor to ride over to show them the logo, why do you need a riding jacket now?
What about...
