Plugged switch slot in left controls

Popped this off and it looks like a slot for a sliding switch.
Does anyone know what T either does put in there or may have put in there and is there a factory switch that could be bought to control aux lights?

That cover on the US switchgear is where the on/off switch for the headlight is on the UK version.

Cheers,

Cool so it should be no problem.

Thanks Kit!

No prob! Let us know if you find a switch to fit; I'm already starting to think of things I might want to switch on & off from there....

Cheers,

Well if it's a UK option and the area is reamed for it seems like a guy should be able to get the correct switch from their dealer. Seems like a perfect option for a no new holes switch to me.
I'll call my dealer and see what they say about parts.

Unfortunately Triumph will not sell you the switch separately! You can buy the whole assembly though for only $164.25! (With light switch) Or $143.55 for exactly the same setup you have now! (Lights always on) Ouch!

as mentioned before it is the off, position (alian) light, lights on switch.

Over here they dropped since the 04 models... some European pencil pusher thinks I'm not old and wise enough to decide when I can switch on or off the lights...
