Excellent, let us know how you like them.
Did you get the baffle? I'd recommend NOT using it. They seemed pretty loud at first, but once I got used to the sound, I'm loving it.

The didn't come with the baffle. I thought they would so I don't have a choice. I intended to mount them with out anyway and use the baffle only if they were too loud. I did notice the on one can the slot where the clamp is needs to be debured. I will check the others as it is an airleak waiting to happen. In addition to the instructions enclosed with the pipes I always use anti sieze compound when assembling exhausts. It makes disassembly, even years down the road, much easier.

One of the "tricks" - you can't rotate the stock exhaust to work it off. I just used a hammer and rod to drive it off from the rear. You can sneak it in there and give it a few pops

There is a Trident Installation Instruction in the blog section that specifically talks about the possibility of burrs in that area.
Read the instruction, the author did a pretty good job of it.

Not THAT good, he didn't even bother imbedding pics, or even offer tips for removing the old muffler

Just installed the Tridents this morning(about 2 hrs). Squeezing the pipes together to get the light bracket reinstalled was the trickiest part. Would have been easier with 2 people.
I'll tell you what. I'm not sneaking in and out of the neighborhood any more. Sure sounds nice though. Went for a 10 mile ride. I have to get the bike to the shop now to get the new tune.
You'll have to excuse me while I go to the garage for a listen and retorque the connections.
