living vicariously....

through others at the moment....post some pics of you triumph riders who can ride year long....I am sitting here at my office looking at an ice storm here in CT....this makes me want to move to somewhere warm like California. San Diego looks like a great place to live at some point in my life before I get too old. I am just afraid of the steep realestate pricing and inner city traffic.

From a couple weeks ago...

but it's still pretty nice around here (SF Bay Area). Sunny and mid-60's today .

Along the PCH...

San Diego is very nice. 65-75 degrees year round, nice roads, and little rain, but the traffic gets REALLY old. Housing prices have dropped a bit, but still one of the most expensive places in the US to buy a house.

PCH is what im talking about!! I have a cousin in SB and I am always jealous when I visit. I think I need to go out there soon to see him and the area again. He always says "the west is the best...come out and we will do the rest" lol

Talking Pacificcoastcabrillosansimeonpapanbluestar highway!

Had one of the best rides of my life up Hwy 1 (PCH, although up here it's technically called the Cabrillo Hwy) from Pt. Reyes up to Jenner, down Bohemian Hwy to Occidental then Graton Rd to 116. Incredible ride!

Even though you're only about 35 or so miles north of my local, Norcal, you guys get considerably more rain up there and it's colder. But the way things are looking right now, we may have year-round riding all the way to Oregon unless we get some friggin' rain. Hey man, I want to ski too! Oh well, maybe it'll be a late golf season.

Steventhechef, I assume that it is inferred that those of us from sunny, hot, southern climes are excluded from this thread . Enjoy your summer down under!

Dave.
