I found this pretty interesting:

One problem we have in learning to ride stems from a cruel trick played on us by our parents. They gave us a tricycle to pedal around. A tricycle turns in the direction you steer it. When we rode a bicycle for the first time, we fell down, and everyone said it was because we didn't have good balance. Actually, it was because bicycles also counter steer.

So the Major reason for accidents is that we don't know how to ride?? Gee that is funny as every motorcycle accident I was involed in was the cage drivers fault, including the 2 rear enders and the left turn in front of me. With the comment I didn't see him each time!!! Stay Safe PhxMan

Countersteering is not a question on motorcycle rider "license" tests, which use deceptive language and defective images that falsely appear to show that motorcycles steer just like automobiles.

That is blatantly false, at least in New York. It's been just over 3 years since I got my learner's & a little over 2.5 since I got my license. "Push left to go left" was in the literature & on the test.

The number one cause of motorcycle crashes is the failure of riders to countersteer.

That's just plain made up.

That article has odd biases & is strangely written.
