18T sprocket part number

doing some reseach and came up with JTF 1180.18 as part number for 05 Sprint ST 18T sprocket. Am I right?

This is sale price I found:

http://www.motorcycleproshop.com/det..._id=JTF1180-18

is this the right part? Are there better/recomended ones?

I am ready to buy.
thanks in advance.

If they say it fits, it should. The site was too slow for me to check it out. If it matters to you, the Triumph sprocket has a rubber insert that cushions it a bit and is supposed to be quieter.

SamR,
JTF 1180.18
That Part no. is exactly the same as the one I put on last week.
It also had another number as well : 41-T01-18
I'ts a great performance booster
See my thread I did last week on the speed variations
http://www.triumphrat.net/sprint-for...-readings.html

Cheers

Oh, and they do not look like the original Triumph sprockets - straight metal sprocket no rubber casings

The cush isn't really necessary. I never know I don't have it. Don't be stuck on a Sprint part # as mine came off a T'Bird. Those guys trade their 18's for 19's. I don't know the P/N as my dealer gave and installed it for free at my 500 mile initial checkup.

I have just had a JT 18T sprocket fitted to my RS.

I was initially concerned as to the possiblity of the extra noise without the rubber baby buggy bumper on it.. but it makes no appreciable difference IMO.

I am still just listening to the wind rush pass and the fantastic howl of my triple..

Possible Part number

Guys,

Called the local (only) dealer and they gave me a part number of: 248925, and the price was $25.85. Can anyone else verify that this is a Triumph 18T sprocket with the rubber bumper?
