6k service

I had my 6k service done, but I opted to change my plugs and airfilter as well as my coolant since the bike was made in nov of 05 as an 06 sprint. Anyway....that airfilter was filthy...I was amazed at only 6k that it was as dirty as it was and im glad it was changed. The plugs looked ok..but since I was there I had them change them out for a fresh set, and the coolant still looked good but I am a believer in preventative maintenence.

Oils

Ricster,
it's a good idea to be changing your oil in between the required oil changes also.

I have been doing this on all my bikes for over 30 years and it certainly helps the engines last, unless of course it hits a car or bus at high speed that's run a stop light or sign.

I wonder how I know about that!
