2008 Sprint, What colour???

I had a mishap with my old Sprint in September and my insurance company have written it off.

I took a new Tiger for a test ride out last weekend with the intention of buying one. As i got back to the dealers a guy had just returned on a demo sprint so took that out to get a "back to back" view, how could I think of not buying another Sprint??.

The tiger was good but didn't give me that buzz, grin factor, rush etc etc.

My only dilemma is what colour. I really fancied a Phantom black but they have discontinued this for 2008.

I have checked Triumphs website but can't get a good idea of true colours, has anyone seen any decent pictures anywhere yet.

.......I didnt know that black was being discontimued - it must be one of the most popular ones.Doesnt make sense to me to drop it.

Perhaps a yellow to replace it?

Graphite Grey is the same as the 675 - very nice, but SWMBO says it's poor for visibility in poor light conditions. Sort of "Audified"

The new blue is "different", bit dark for my taste.

So that leaves the only true colour - Tornado Red

I'd vote for the Tornado Red as well. Had it on my first 99 Sprint. Nice colour. I'm still not sure what the new blue looks like.

Graphite looks nice on the 675 but that bike is smaller and has all the golden accents as well. I think tha Sprint will look too dull in it, but still better than the old Sprint silver-grey (not sure what that was called) to my eyes.

Call me old fashioned but I'd love to see a Sprint offered in British Racing Green.

Wink why not a Japanese copy?

...like Kwacker

Flame Orange, or Lime Green

Of course, I like my 06 Sunset Red just fine. I snapped this other one at the weekend and it was going so fast I could not quite get it focussed:

Thumbs up

I've seen the Pacific Blue on a different triumph, i too was set on a black one and was gutted to find out i couldnt get it.

The Pacific Blue will never look as good as the caspian blue but in al honesty, it IS actually a nice colour. Bit of sophisitation i think... plus if you dont like red bikes, its either the blue.. or road colour!!! i know which one i'd choose!

Personally am more concerned about the raised handle bars... takes away some of the sportiness I think.

Ordered mine for Jan!

Knowing our luck they'l bring back the black and caspian blue next yr!
