re:coolant change

How long do you guys go between coolant flushes? My bike was built in 11/05 and im thinking of dumping the coolant for good measure. What do you guys all think?

'beins its purdy darn easy, I change mine twice a year. Especially if I have been caught in heavy traffic in hot weather.

I'm the opposite. I just changed coolant in my '03 for the first time. My bike is primarily ridden in town, and it gets right toasty here in the summer.

It looked fine, but of course there's no way to tell if the corrosion additives were spent.

FWIW, I put Dexcool in as a replacement. The orange color is harder to see in the overflow rez, but it has all the proper specs for the bike, and it's cheap.

I do mine every 2 years but not longer. The long life stuff leaves a brown gunk in there. Not my experience but have seen it.

I think I will be changing it shortly...I dont want brown gunk to build up
