Your bike is still too tight being quite new so it should loosen up in the next 4K or so. 300lbs is impressive though

Sorry, I'm an old codger having problems with embedding pics . Let's try again:

= 159mph.
5,500 ft asl, 18C/64F, I'm 190 lb & the tank bag was on at the time.

Why do I always seem to have the tank bag on when I'm speed testing on the closed road course?

It was the outback Dave, between Hawker and Wilpena, nothing to worry about but emu's (even too hot for roos in that part)

Does shows how stable the Triumph chassis is, that I felt comfortable even trying this.

Also shows how much you need the wind protection at high speed, my absolute max (so far) on the S3 is 203kph. My Sprint got up to 237.4kph and when I was harrumph, "smaller" I got up to 265kph on my ZZR1100

Fastest so far ......... 142mph solo fully loaded (panniers, top box, camping gear)
currently showing 137mph on max speed, of the trip computer.
and i`ve just done a 500+ miles weekender to riding the 2 sportiest things in my life atm. (my bike and my G/F) and I was clocking speeds around 100-125mph solo (panniers, top box), covering the 210 miles 1 way from door 2 door in around 2 1/2hrs, this inc a fuel and coffee stop.

the only problem round here is that several of the bike cops, hand out at the local triumph dealers, which means,
1) they get to test ride the triumphs, and behave like hooligans, which they often do
2) they know how to opperate the trip computer, and find out how fast you`ve been, if they ever pull you over
