Sprint Trip

Hi everybody. I'm back. I recently completed the last part of my move from SF to Seattle. That was getting the Sprint up north, and what better way to do it than a 3 day 1200 mile ride.

I came through the national forest in Northern CA (saw a bear right in the middle of the road), Klamath Falls, Crater Lake, Mt. Hood, along the Columbia Gorge, Mt. St Helena, and Mt. Rainier. Chilly in the AM and a bit of drizzle on the last day as I approached Seattle, but what a trip. Extraordinary.

I am more impressed with the Sprint the longer I own it. It was flawless the whole way. I rode it hard in all weather, road, and traffic conditions, fully loaded. It was well mannered and stable in traffic or at speed, following a truck, or blasting through miles of twisties. I really do need to quit my job and ride for a living.

And now, back to reality................

Thanks for sharing. Yeah, the Sprint's really good on 2 to 3 day trips. There's a new thread posted here asking what bike we'd like to ride on each day of the week. I think I'd choose the Sprint 7 days a week without even thinking twice.

So if you're now in Seattle I presume you'll get lots of wet weather practice ? I've been in Seattle one day only and saw a T shirt that read 'The Seattle Rain Festival: January 1st to December 31st'.

Yimm glad to hear you had a great trip.
I am looking forward to doing a few of those next year.
