Newbie ? on shifter pedal adjustment

Looking at the shifter pedal on my 2000 ST to adjust for better foot position. It looks like the required steps are:

loosen the pinch bolt on the selector shaft
loosen lock nuts on link bar
adjust link bar to desired pedal position
retighten pinch bolt on selector shaft
retighten lock nuts on link bar

Have I overlooked anything?
