Finally after months and months of waiting, I have received my Axio tail pack in carbon fiber finish. Intial reaction is the light weight, ridgid construction and good fit and finish.

: It is considered water resistant, this seems obvious considering half of it's design is a hard polymer shell. Attachment points are 4 hook and loop straps at the corners or 4 smal "D" rings at the corners. These also double as attachment points for the mesh cargo net. (included) Internal pockets are plentiful, with hold down strapping for the main compartment. Zippers work well, with little are no binding. Measures, L: 14" x W:13.5" x H:7"
Attaching it to the bike is pretty straight forward, I used the straps attaching the front to my hard luggage rails and the rears looped them around the rear pillion handhold and I was set. NOTE: in previous tailpack threads a quick release system was highly sought after feature, in this configuration that is not an option (caveat) the small "D" rings give hope for this modification. Once on the bike IMHO looks great, it flows with the lines of the bike nicely, and fills the rear portion of seat like this was a OEM part. It almost beckons to be referred to as a seat cowl with storage......mmmm maybe that is slightly stretching it, but for what I need this it really a good looking bag. If you are looking for high capacity ( which some of you are) this won't fit the bill, you'll have to settle for the expanded boxy loooking like I just came off the roof of an SUV packs.
I used it today rode about just shy of 300 miles. I had my water bottle (32oz.) Ball cap( Florida State), wallet, iPod, cell phone, map, camera, and wipes for my face shield. It was not a capacity.
All in all I like it and will keep it. You can see it @:
